PetBridge goes mobile for users by sending alerts to those who have signed up with the system. When an animal is entered into the shelter intake, and available for adoption, the shelter enters a list of characteristics and attributes for that animal. Users can choose which of those characteristics and attributes they prefer, and will receive an email or text message when an animal matching those choices is ready for adoption.
The result is less time in the shelter for the animal, saving time and resources and ultimately, lives! Recently updated functionality for PetBridge includes a free Lost & Found poster generator. Developers are continually working to increase functionality to best assist shelters and to help animals find forever homes.
